About Patchwork Foundation
A national democracy-and-engagement charity's website, built to make political opportunity feel reachable rather than closed off.
Overview
Patchwork Foundation connects young people from underrepresented communities with the UK’s political establishment, Masterclasses, internships, campaigns, an MP of the Year award. I built the site structured around their programmes rather than their org chart, so a young person landing on it can go straight from “what’s this” to “how do I get involved,” with the impact numbers and alumni stories doing the persuading. It needed to read as credible enough for MPs and civil servants while staying approachable for the 16–25 year-olds it’s actually trying to reach.
