Contact form. If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you submit are sent to Karl by email so your enquiry can be answered. This information isn’t added to any mailing list or used for anything beyond replying to you.
Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, which pages are popular, how people found the site, and roughly how long they spend on it. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this; see the Cookie Policy for details of exactly which cookies are set.
No other tracking, advertising, or profiling tools are used on this site.
How this data is used
- To reply to enquiries sent through the contact form.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, so it can be improved.
Your data is never sold, and is not shared with anyone other than the service providers named below.
Who this data is shared with
Analytics data is processed by Google as part of Google Analytics. Google’s own privacy policy explains how it handles this data, including that it may be processed outside the UK. No other third parties receive data collected by this site.
How long data is kept
Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, then deleted. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics according to Google’s own retention settings.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to how it’s used.
